Meet the Artist
Dallas based, Carissa Nalley aka Rissilient Art, is a full time multidisciplinary artist specializing in an array of mediums. Her mediums of choice range from lapel pins, intricate stickers, vibrant jewelry, ink illustrations, acrylic paintings, and large scale chalk murals. Creating vibrant and detailed works, she loves capturing the essence of life! From portraits, landscapes, animals, plants and florals; you never know what you might get!
She believes you can make beautiful things from your mistakes; as one of her favorite mediums are pastels. They’re very forgiving. Having faced times of adversity; she’s chosen to persevere and stay resilient to share her gifts with others.
One of the biggest aspects in Carissa’s life is being a mother of two. She pours herself into motherhood in all of her off time. Being a full time artist has provided her the work life balance she’s always desired.
